Mr Binnie, on rising to, rtiply, thanked those present for coming to say farewell to him, and also for the handsome presents they hadgiven.him. He would tell them he didn't think he'was worthy of them, yet he had at all times tried to do his best for them, and his only regret was that he could not do more than he had done. He wished to thank the public for the interest.it had .taken in him, and he knew that h ; o was leaving many friends behind him. He felt tyiat he was. tlijs better oftfor coming to Kaitangata, and lie could assure them the work here afeong the people of Kaitaiigata had been for his benefit. He would like to thank the members of the church for the manner in which they had stood by him. Although preachers of the gospel sometimes have a tough time of it, yet it was a glorious life to live. God had blessed the labours of. the past iponth # in the mission meetings. He would like to hear everyone present say "It is well with my soul." A message he would give each one—"Stand fast in the faith—quit ye like men,'' and don't neglect the means of grace God lias given to each one of us. When we can realise what Christ is to-day we can afford to stand fast like men. Christ's teachings and faith are strong, and men stand together for that which is strong. Gather together and study the greatest book of literature the world, has ever "known. Bro. Noble was to continue the work in Kaitangata, and he appealed to all to stand by and help him. He was especially thankful for the good result of the mission here, where so many were led to .fesus Christ. He would again thank them for the presents, but he would assure them that he never expected them, nor would he require the presents to remember the kind friends he had met in Kaitangata, and although he may never meet them again on earth he prayed that he would meet them in the Better Land. In conclusion, he said, "May God bless you, is my prayer." Mr Noble, who continues the evangelistic work in Kaitangata, said a few words, expressing regret at losing his co-worker for Christ.

During the evening the following contributed to the harmony of the meeting: Mr G. Thompson, song; Mr T. Bspie, address on behalf of the public; Mr H. Smith, piccolo solo (2); Mr Edwards, song; address, Mr A. McMillan; recitatiou, Mr Bloxam; address, Mr A. Jarvie; song, Mr Binnie; address, Mrs Aitcliison; song, Mrs A. Jarvie; address, Mr A.
