WANTED TO GIVE THEM AWAY. _ At Oollingwood (Victoria) the other Saturday night a man was am'sted on a charge of drunkenness, and when searched he had in his possession £BBBO in jiotes and gold, a cheque for £37, and a bank deposit receipt for £I6OO, He was making violent efforts to net bystanders to accept £SO notes from him when the licensee of a hotel sent for a policeman, who locked the man up. It is stated that ho came from Svdoev where lie raxnitly disposed of an hotel business.
