SHOOTING.

BALCLUTHA RIFLE CLUB. The opening of the Balclutha Defence Rifle Club was held on the Barnego Range on Wednesday in fine weather. There were about 15 members present. The president (Major Pennycook) provided light refreshments, and a very pleasant afternoon was spent. The best scores were:— . 200 500 T1 M\ Healey .. .. .. .. 32 29—61 J.
