HON. W. FRASER.
VISITS GATLINS ON 26th INST. The Hon. 1 Mr Fraser, Minister of Public Works, passed south by last night's express e.n route to Gore. He was waited on at the railway station by Mr Malcolm, M.P., and the Mayor. In reply to the latter Mr Fraser said he would go into the mattor of the protective embankment when in Balclutha on the 25th inst. Mr Fraser arrives in Balclutha on Tuesday evening, 25th inst., and will proceed to the Catlins railhead by special train early next morning, returning about mid-day.
