A NATURAL FOG HORN.
- It has been ascertained t.luait thespiral horn of a wild sheep, wlien so placed that the ear is in the axis of the coil makes the direction, from, which the ticking of a watch comes more easily discernible. Sinw the ear of the sheep is surrounded by the horn, it is' inferred that the latter acts as an car ti'uml>et, not improving the hearing for distant sounds, but disclosing the direction of a sound. This would bo useful in enabling the sheep to ascertain the exact points whence sounds come when
