FOOTBALL.
TOKO v. OWAKA. This match, played at Balclutha last Saturday, was the best exhibition of football seen in South Otago this year. Although /there was no score on I either side, Toko hud the best of it, j and in the second spell gave|Owaka a particularly lively time. Mr A. E. Bragg was referee. STIRLING v. CLUTHA. Stirling turned the tables on Clutha at Stirling on Saturday, by winning to the tune of nine points to nil. The match was a scramble, and at times inclined to roughness. In the first spell R. Tlislop .got a try which was converted by H. Smith, and E. Hair potted a goal in the second spell. Mr P. C. Hislop refereed.
