Kill ('at tie.-The beef supply consisted of 190 head, a large proportion of which were very prime quality. The nale was uneven throughout, and except for prime heavy weights the market was weaker to the extent of 5/and occasionally 10/, a head. Prime bullocks sold at £ll 1(1/ to £l2 10/, extra heavy to £ls 5/, medium to go 0( | £8 10/ to £lO 10/, light £ii »/ to £9. 15/, prime cows and heifers £7 1.")/ to £M, medium £6 to £7 5/, inferior £5 to £5 15/, Fat Sheep.-Therc was a moderate yarding, 270!) being penned, chielly wethers. Although these were mostly useful quality sheep, there were no extra heavy weights, and the yarding generally was below the average. Several northern buyers were present, and there was keen competition for the best lines, >,whkit 'sold an advance of 1/ to .1/0 on last week's rates. Light wethers and ewes showed no change. Fat Lambs.—Eleven nice quality spring lambs, the first of the season, were penned to-day and sold under brisk competition at 30/ to 20/. . .
