No fewer than 107 ships of the Dreadnought type are now built, building or ordered for the various Powers, according to a valuable table drawn up by Mr A. H, Burgoyne, M.P. The following are the figures for the different navies: Britain 32 Germany 21 U.S.A 12 France 10 Japan 8 Russia 4 Austria 4 Italy 4 Brazil 3 Spain 3 Argentine ... 2 Chili 2 Turkey 2 The largfst Dreadnoughts.yet laid down are the two Argentine ships, each displacing 27,940 tons, though these are. rlosely followed by the British Queen Mary, of 27.500 tons, and the new German end American ships, each of 27,- 1 000 tons. j
