'The match between Wahvera-Clydc-vale and Toko, fixed for Saturday, did| not eventuate, Toko failing to raise a team. Owaka I. beat Balclutha I. at 0waka on Saturday by 28 to nil. The Owaka backs were far too fast for the Clutha men, and the game was a "gift." Owaka 11. beat South Molyneux at Owaka by 9to nil. 11. tobin and Fen scored, and the latter also kicked a penalty goal. The backs were pretty evenly matched, but the weight j of the Owaka forwards carried the day. Mr W. Melntyre made a satisfactory referee.
