Balelutha beat Clinton on Saturduv last by 21 to nil. South Otago v. Bustern District Representatives' match on the Caledonian Ground to-morrow afternoon. Three interprovincial matches were played' on. Saturday. Southland beat Otago by 12 to 1 Auckland beat Taranaki by ]8 to 0. Wellington beat Canterbury by 34 to nil. The following teams have been selected to represent the Balelutha Young Men's Club and the Harrier Club against Owaka and Waiwora Classes, in a seven-a-sidc tournament to be played here to-morrow at 1.15 : --A team: Reid, Bone, Munro, McLa fdan, Simpson, Agnew, l.ousley. O'llara The extra match between Waikari and Kailangata Football Clubs to decide which team should meet the Northern for the Banner, wus played at Culling Park on Saturday, and, contrary to expectation, resulted in victory for Kaitangata by tbree goals to one. The Kai. team showed a glimpse of their true form ; all playerß p'nyed their nest game of the senson,and they feel confident of lowering the colors of the Black and Whites next Saturday. —The semi-final of the competition for tho Carson Challenge Cup was played on Saturday between Castle Hill and Kaitangata on Saturday, the latter winning by 'hree goals to nil.
