The above heading will, of course, appear to most people as the heiyhf of absurdity, yet tho absurdity is more apparent than real. It goes without saying that a finished musical education in tho regular course cannot be had for a crown, or even with several hundred additional crowns, but can it bo truthfully said that the person with a sufficient knowledge of music to play accompaniments on tho piano or organ, to all the popular and standard songs of the day has no musical education } Assuredly not.
