AND THESE,— Abbotsford, North' lsland, June 9, 1894. To W. Lowes, Esq., i .<■ I Agent for " TOXA,!' Masterton. Dear Sir,— We are very pleased indeed with the rabbit poison we got through your agency. In our opinion it is far and away the most killing poison which has yet been invented for the destruction of the pest. We look forward to as good results during the coming spring and ."summer as we have already experienced during the six wenks we have used ifc. — Yours Farhfnlly WHATMAN BROS. . Masterton, June 2, 1894. Messrs Lowes and lorns, Agents for "TOXA" Manufacturing Co. Dear Sirs, — "We have used a considerable quantity of " TOXA " and the results have moro than fulfilled expectations. We shall continue to lay it, believing- that ifc will prove to be the solution of the rabbit difficulty in rough country.— We are, etc. CAMERON BROS. Stewart and M'Gfe, Wooloomooloo Station, Hay(N.S.W.) Mpy 23, 1894:- We have much pleasure in staling that we have found the "TOXA " rabbit poison which you sent us to be without, a doubt the best exterminator yet invented for useafc this time of the year when feed is so plentiful and rabbits avo breeding. At r trip round a warren with a small tin we got' 244 rabbits and as we got all the skins they paid fully four times what tho " TOXA " cost fco.kill them. "TOXA "can be used in the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter ; in tact, it it, the oiily poison that rabbits will take in the summer. "Roseneath, Wangaloit July 10, 1893. Messrs Stronnch Bros, and Morris, Agents for "TOXA." Gentlemen, — I received the 21b tin of "TOXA " on Saturday, the Btb inst and at once laid some of ifc in a 21-acre paddock below the house which I had not poisoned with pbosphoriscd oats. I can assure you it opened my eyes next morning to find 21 rabbits ail lying in a ro-v just as if someone bad laid them there. None of the rabbits were more than three yards away from tke sods, so that let me see that if a rabbit took ifc he did not have time to get away to cover. The only thing I regret is not having someone with me to see the sight. There is no mistake it is a miracle and knocks spots out of poisoned grain. lam sorry now I had all the other paddocks poisoned beforehand with poisoned grain. The way I used the "TOXA" was as follows— I turned up a sod] about every 12 :yards until I had about a dozen. Then I .put a small piece about half as big as a pigeon's egg on each. I think the more sods turned up the better, as ifc di - aws the l'abbits' attention to the poison. Of course plenty of the sods wore never touched, and if there are any more rabbits about thoro is as much "TOXA" on the othor sods as will kill more than three times 21. I will tell you later on how many I get in the paddock altogether, but I think I havo told you enough to let you see what a capital thing ifc is. — I am, etc. JOHN BURNS P.S.-Had to open this letter to let you know ibe result" on Monday morning. I found 18 more rabbits just where I got the 21 the previous day, and still there are sods not touched, so I may get a few more yet, although the rabbits are not very thick in this paddock.
