Fat Cattle.— Only 155 head yarded, including a few trucks of very heavy bullocks from the north. There was a brisk demand, and pricps ruled much the same as thoss obtained last week. Best Bullocks sold at L!) 5s to Lll • medium do LG lss to LS 15s ; light do Lt 5.^ to L 5 17s 6d ; cows and heifers L 3 15* to L 8 10s. Fat Sheen. — 2338 penned, including 350 ■merinos. For prime crossbred wethers and maiden ewes there was a brisk deman l , hut aged ewes, unless really prime, met a slow sale. Except at the close of the sale, prices were no better than those obtained last week. A few picked crossbred wethers sold at Kis Gd 17s 9d ; a pen of extra heavy crossbred ctves 16s ; prime heavy crossbred wethers 14s 6d to 15s 9d; medium do 12s to Us ; li-jhfc do 10s to Us 9<l ; prime crossbred ewes 13s 6d to 14s 6d ; ordinary do 83 to 10s (id ; merino wethers 4s 6d to 9s 6d. Fat Lambs.— 2o6 penned, mostly all good quality. There was a fair demand, and best pens met a ready sale. Best sold at 8* 9d to 9s 6d, medium Gs 9d to 7s 9<l small 4s Gd to Gs Pigs. —lJ2 penned including all sorts, except baconers. There was a very poor demand, and prices for all descriptions were in favour of buyers. Suckers sold at 5s 6d to 13s 6d ; slips 15s Gd to 17s ; stores 18s to 2?s : porkers 24s to 2Ss Gd.
