BURNSIDE STOCK SALES.

Fat Cattle.— Only 110 head yarded, comprising several pens very prime beef and useful weights, but none extra heavy, and the greater part only very medium. Owing to the small supply to hand on this and the former week competition was very spirited, best cattle fetching 20s to 25s per head more than last week. Best bullocts brought L9 10s to LXI • medium to good L8 5s to L9 7s 6d ; light L6 5s to L7 17s Isd ; best cows T,B 5s to L9 5s ; medium to good L5 17s 6d to L7 12s 6d ; light and aged L2"los to L5 7s 6d. Fat Sheep.— 2o22 were penned, including 225 merino wethers, good to prime. There was a very good demand, host wether mutton showing an advance of Is to Is 6d per head : ewes hardly so much. Best wethers brought 15s to 16s 6d ; good to best 13s to 14s 91 ; ordinary 10s to 12s 9d ; best do ewes 10s to 12s 6d— one pen extra heavy 15s ; ordinary 7s 9d to 9s 91 ; merino wethers 7s Gd to 12s 6d. Fat Lambs.— Bo penned and sold under very fair competition at from 7s 6d to 9s 9d. Pigs.— l4o penned, representing all sorts none of which, however, met with a very brisk sale, prices all round being in favour of buyers. Suckers brought 7s 6d to 9s 6d ; slips lis 6d to 16s 6d ; stores 18s to 20s ; porkers 21s 6d to 295 ; biconers 33s to 49s ; a few extra heavy 56s to 60s. J
