An unrivalled opportunity of securing first-class farms on one of the Choicest Estates in Otago. Terms of payment exceptionally easy, WRIGHT, STEPHENSON & 00. are favored with instructions from the executors of the late James Logan, Esq., to sell by public auction at above time and place — The celebrated Popotunoa Estate, containing 5,432 acres or thereabouts, subdivided into a large number of moderate sized farms. The magnificent Homestead will be sold with about 500 acres, and the rest of the Estate in sections, according to the Government maps, singly or grouped two or more together aa may be determined on the dayof sale. Popotunoa Estate is within one mile of Olintcn Railway Station, and the manager, Mr William M'Callum, will show intending purchasers the farms as it is proposed they should be laid off. WRIGHT, STEPHENSON, & CO., favoured with instructions from the Executors of the late James Logan, Esq. , will sell by auction at above time and place all the Sheep, Horses, Implements, Furniture, etc., on the estate :— 5000 Superior Sheep, than which there is not a better flock in all New Zealand. The flock consists of 752 2-tooth maiden Romney Marsh Ewes, 511 4-tooth Romney Marsh Ewes, 721 4 and 6-tooth Romney Marsh Ewes, 724 6 and 8-tooth Romney Marsh Ewes, 237 stud Merino Ewes (all ages) ; total breeding Ewes, 2945. Dry Sheep.— 7o2 2-tooth Romney Wethers, 408 fat crossbred Wethers (4 and 6-tooth), 180 Merino Wethers (2, 4, 6, and 8-tooth)^ 820 Romney Lambs (about equal sexes), 20 pure Merino Ram Lambs, 15 halfbred Ram Lambs (Romney-Merino cross), 1 stud Merino Ram (4tooth) ; total, 2055 Note.— Pure Romney Marsh Rams have been out with the ewes for a month.
