Thompson.— ln loving memory of our darling, John Herbert Thompson, who died at Balclutha, March 29th, 1893. Alas ! my Bertie ; oh ! my darling, Thy mother mourns her boy still. My heart ia aching for thee ever — Thou'st left a void that nau°hb can fill. To me, my child, tlidu seern'dst the dearest Of all that formed my household band. I'll mourn thee till I greet thee, Bertie, Within the sinless Angel Land. —Inserted by his sorrowing parents.
