March 6. — Lower grades dull, but good competition for medium sorts. The market shows signs of improve inent, and a better tone was exhibited.
Btb. — Sales brisk ; prices 6rm, and for medium sorts slightly improved. 9thr — Market brisk ; prices unchanged. Medium is most favored. llth.-— Sales brisk,, but -prices still unchanged. It is expected that the present series will close on Friday (to-day). The quantity catalogued up to date is 127,000 bales, : of which 115,800 were sold,
