BURNSIDE STOCK SALES.

Eat Cattle.— ls7 head yarded, of quality ranging from medium to good, with a few pens prime and useful weight, none eztra heavy. A moderately fair demand was 1 experienced, but owing to a few of the principal buyers having purchased supplies privately prices ruling last week were hardly maintained' Best bullocks nronght L 9 5s to LlO 2s 6d,; medinm to good, L 7 17s 6d to L 9"' light, L 6 10s to L 7 5s ; best cows, \LB to L 8 12s 6d ; medium to good, 15 17s 6d to L 7 12s 6d ; light and aged, L32s6d to Ls l2s 6d. | Fat Sheep. —l6oo penned, including 220 merino wethers. A clearance was effected at' prices about on a par with those of last week. Best crossbred wethers brought 12s 9d to 13s 3s ; medium, 10s to 12s fid ; best do ewes, lis to 12s jßd ; medium to good, 7s 9d to 10s 9d ; merino [wethers, 6s 6d to 7s 9d.

! Lambs.— 626 were penned, representing all sorts, which only met with moderate demand, but lower prices had to be accepted to effect pale*. Best brought 8s fid to 10s ; medium 5s 6d /to 7s 9d.

Pigs. — Only 36 penned, nearly all suckers and slips, with a very few porkers. Suckers brought 10a to 13s ; slips 15s to 17s ; porkers 34s to 40s ; tvv o or three extra heavy pigs 55s to GOs.
