RevP Advertisements. . LICENSING DISTRICT ...OF CLUTHA. ELECTION OF 'LICENSING COMMITTEE AND VOTE AS- TO LICENSES. NOTICE OF POLLING DAY." In "pursuance of " The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act 1893," I, ROBERT GRIGOR,- Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Clutha, do hereby give notice that an election will be held for the return of EIGHT qualified persons to serve as Members of the Licensing committee for the said district : and that the latest day for receiving NOMINATIONS of Candidates will be the thirteenth day 1 of March 1894, .and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken at the several polling places of the said district on the twenty -first day of March 1894. Every person desirous of becoming a candidate, must be nominated by not less that Two Electors of the district by a nomination paper in the prescribed form delivered to the returning officer on or before the thirteenth day of March 1894. Each nomination must be accompanied by a deposit of TEN POUNDS. And Notice is hereby further given that at the same time and place a POLL of the ELECTORS of the said district will be taken under the provisions of the said Act as to 1. Whether the present number of Licenses is to continue. 2. Whether the number of any such Licenses is to be reduced. 3. Whether any licenses are to be Granted.
