Fat Sheep. — To-day's market wo a supplied with 310 merinos of fair quality, and 2,091 crossbreds, the greater part being owes, with a few pens of prime wethers. (Waiwcra Estate) 61 half broil wethors at 15s to 15s 91, 60 f.m. croasbred ewes, at 135 9.1 ; for Mr T Morloy (Gore) 63 crossbrel ewen at 13s ; for Mr John Sanderson (Ashfields) T4O crossbred ewes at 13s to 15s ; for Mr James Logan (Greenv.ilp) 180 f.m. j-hrorl ewas to 16s 3d (top today); for Mr W R Todd (Mosgiel) 58 merino ewes at 8* 3d to 8s 9 1 ; also privately for Mr Henry Palmer (Otakio) 800 2-tooth. wethers at 12s ; for Mr A All wood (South) 200 pwes at quotations. We quote mutton 2|d to 3|j'l per lb. Fat Lambs-- Only 176 penned ; these wero all prime quality and sold well. Best sold at llrto ' 14s ; others, 9* to 10s 6d. We sold 13 afc 13s 10,1 ; 13 at Us 3d ; 19 at lls ; 2at 8s 6d. Pigs. — 246 in, the bulk being porkers and baconers ; these sold at rather advanced prices, stores and suckers were also in moderate request. We sold porkers at 21s to 46s ; stores, 10s to 18s ; Wckors, 6s to 9s 6*cl, Wo quote pork, 2% d to 3i<l perlb.
