The winner to be the absolute property of the Club. To start afc 5.30. B.— CONSOLATION RACE of £10. For all beaten horses. ' Entrance, 10s. Distance, l\ miles. To start at 6.15. Nominations for the Hurdle, Trot, and Clutha Handicaps must be made with the : Secretary on or before Monday, 21st December. Handicaps will ! be declared in Clutlia Leader of 25th' December. Entrance money, age, and description of horse, and colors to be worn by rider, must accompany nomination. Acceptances must be notified to, the Secretary before 8.30 p.m. on Monday, 28th December. Entries for the remaining races close at 8.30 p.m. on Monday, 28th December. In cases where not more than three horses start, only half stakes will be awarded. Noii-members must be subscribers to the amount of 10s 6dto the Race Fund before their nominations will be received. No protest will be received unless the sum of one sovereign is deposited with the Secretary ; to be forfeited if the same be considered frivolous. The decision of the Stewards in all cases of dispute shall be final, and the Dunedin J. C. rules willbe strictly adhered to. A TOTALISATOR will be on the ground. Admission to Ground ... Is. G. W.
