Gentlemen, — I have much pleasure in stating that the " Howard " Harvester which J nought from you j this season gave me every satisfaction. The neatness aud compactness of the sheaves, and the clean stubble left, were everything that could be desired. As regards strength and durability, I think the " Howard " will be hard to surpass. The amount of crop I cut with it was over 300 acres, some of which was very rough grouud and some pretty steep sidelings. After doing that amount of work I find the machine but little impaired. Tokomairiio, May 12, 1885. Dear Birs,~The " Howard " Eeaper and Twine Binder which I bought of you this season has given me every satisfaction, both with regard to c^ean stubble and good tying. I harvested about 130 acres of crop, and i had it of the two extremes, both light and heavy, and she gave me every satisfaction in them hoth, especially in the heavy and tangled crops, and I consider that she is more of a master of her work in that sort of a crop than any other machine that I have seen. 1 consider she is of a reasonable . light draught, for I worked her the first few days with a pair of horses, and when I put in three I could work her a long dav with all ease to the horses.
