New Advertisements. QOUNTY OF. CLUTHA. ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES OF RIDINGS. Public Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Clutha County Council will be held in the Athenaeum Hall, Balclutha, on Friday, the 18th day. . of October, 1878, for the purpose of con--firming tlie following resolutions, adopted at a special meeting of the said Council held on Friday, the 20th day of September, 1878, namely,— That the South Molyneux Riding be bounded towards the north by the southern boundary of Run 90 as far as the Waiwera Stream ; thence along the Waiwera Stream as far as the Clinton Riding ; thence along the southern boundary of the Clinton and Richardson Ridinga towards the east by the present boundary of the South Molyneux Riding, towards the south by the ocean, and towards the west by the western boundary of the County as 1 far as the southern boundary ofsaid Run 90. That the Wairuna Riding be bounded towards tlie west arid north by the , Waipahi River and the Pomahaka River, towards the east by the Wairuna Stream and the western and south-western boundaries of the Clinton Riding as far as the Waiwera Stream ; thence along the Waiwera Stream and the western and southern boundary of Run 90 to the Waipahi River. That a new Riding be created, called the Clydevale Riding, bounded towards the north by the Pomahaka River and the northern boundary of the County to the Clutha River, towards the east , by the Clutha River as far as the western boundary of section 36 bf block i. , Pomahaka Survey District ; thence along the western boundary line of said section 36 to the Pomahaka River ; thence across the Pomahaka River, and along the road known as the Pomahaka Ford road to the road known as the Old Lake road ; thence in an. easterly direction along the said Old Lake x*oad to its -junction with the Main South road ; thence in a westerly direction along the Main South road to the road line between sections 44 and 45, block viil, Pomahaka Survey District ; thence along the said road line, known as the Popotunoa Station road, to the western boundary of said block vin.'; thence in a northerly direction along the said western boundary of said block vin. and block x. to the : old northern boundary of the Clinton Riding ; thence along the old boundary of the Clinton Riding to the Pomahaka River. That the Clinton Riding be bounded towards the north by the Clydevale and Pomahaka Ridings, towards the east by the first boundary of the Richardson Riding, towards the south by the South . Molyneux Riding, and towards -the west by the Wairuna Riding. That the Waipahi Riding be bounded towards the west, north, and east, by the boundaries of the County, and towards the south by the Wairuna Riding. ' That the Richardson Riding be as 'gazetted by his Excellency the 'Governor. That the Pomahaka Riding be bounded towards tlie north and east by the Clutha River, towards the south by the Clinton and Richardson Ridings and towards the west by the Clydevale Riding.
