■ New Advertisements. Q< OUTH MOLYNEUX ROAD BOARD. TENDERS WANTED. The South Molyneux Road Board invite Tenders for Works in the Puerua, Catlins River, and Port Molyneux Subdivisions. The Inspector will show the works to intending contractors as under : — In Puerua — on Tuesday, Sept. 17 ; meeting at Mr James Johnston's gate at 10 a.m. In Catlins River — on Saturday, Sept. 21 ; meeting at Mr Robert Miller's at 10 a.m. In Port Molyneux— on Monday, Sept. 23 ; meeting at Hay's swamp (below M'Closkie's) at 10 a.m. Specifications for Foot-bridge over Kororo Creek can be seen at Mr Paterson's Store, Port Molyneux. The South Molyneux Road Board having receded from the former Rate Notice, notice is hereby given that the Board intend at its meeting to be held on Thursday, 26fch September, to make a general rate of Ninepence in the Pound on the Annual Rateable Value of all Property in the district ; also, a special rate of Ninopence in the Pound on all Rateable Property in the Catlins River Subdivision of the above district, said rate to bo for the year beginning Ist April, 1878, to 31st March, 1879, and to be payable to the Collector on 15th October, 1878. "OALMORAL DISTRICT ROAD JL> board. RATE NOTICE. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Balmoral District Road Board intends to make on Thursday, the 25th September, 1378, a rate of One Shilling in the £ upon the values of all reteablc property as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the above Road District for the time being in force ; such rate to be for the year ending March 31st, 1879 ; the rate to be payable in one sum on the fourth day of December, 1878.
