The following memoranda are submitted fo correspondent* as suggestive of subjects upon which comminirations are desired •— Progress of settlement in the district. Progress of public works. Agricultural operations ; state of crops, &c. Horticulture and floraculture. . Local industries : number cf men - employed • machinery used; amount and quality of material turned out, &o. Suggestions as to what new industries might profitably be undertaken in the district, Province, or Colony. Meetings of road boards, school committees, soirees, &c. - -Public! and political meetings. Accidents and offences. State of roaSs, bridges, fords, &c. Public grievances. .... The public wants of the district. ! Timely Intimation ci any, important meeting should be forwarded to this office, so that par reporter might be in attendance. Cltjth a leader Office, Balclhths, let July. 1874.
