Banks Peninsula District Council on Wednesday January 24 1990 commencing at 4.30 p.m. at the Banks Peninsula District Council Chambers above the Lyttelton Library, corner of Oxford Street and Sumner Road, Lyttelton. GARDINER District Secretary CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PROPOSED CLOSURE OF BERKETTS ROAD AND BARTERS ROAD THE Council’s Road Closure Sub-Committee will consider an application from the Motor Racing Club that the Council close Berketts Road and Barters Road from 8.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 1990. The purpose of the proposed closure is to enable the Club to hold the Lady Wlgram Trophy Race Meeting. The closure is proposed to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. The proposed closure will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of Fire Service, ambulance, Police and Council vehicles. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed closure may do so in writing to the Administration Manager, Christchurch City Council, P.O. Box 237, Christchurch not later than January 20, 1990. A further public notice will advise of the Sub-Commlt-tee’s decision on the application.
