Velvet sells well
Prices of super A grade velvet reached $298 a kilogram last week at New Zealand’s first deer velvet auction.
Other prices included: A2 heavy $294, Al heavy $290, B2 heavy $264 and $278, B2 short $265, Cl short $270, Cl long $249, C2 short $250, C2 long $2OO, Taiwan 1 $260, Taiwan 2 $270.
The next auction will be on January 19.
