Police probe Chch fire link

The police are investigating a possible link between several fires in Addington amd\Linwbod. During the last week Chelsea Cars, a Lincoln - Road car sales yard, has been hit,.twice, a house in nearby Pope. Street burned down and a storage room at Hagley High Schoci torched.
In Linwood, a vacant house in Welling- , ton Street was datnaaged by fire, the J latest in a spate of suspicious blazes in i; that area. _ - • ■ Detective Sergeant John Doyles said t the fires were of concern to the police; i “Obviously we can’t Jink them at this t stage, but any suspicious fires committed t in the same area , point to the fact that possibly they are jinked,” he said.
