Croquet challenge
Last year’s doubles champions. Jack McNab and lan Dumergue, withstood a strong challenge from Barbara Lewis and Jack Fraser in the Canterbury senior croquet tournament yesterday. McNab and Dumergue won by a point to reach the semi-finals of the first life of the doubles. Senior doubles.— First life: McNab and Dumergue 26, M. Thompson and L. Cook 8; Lewis and Fraser 26, D.
