Public health charges
The Public Health Laboratory will begin charging local authorities for its services from December 1. Testing of public water supply and swimming pool samples at the laboratory will be charged to local authorities at a discounted rate, in an effort to make up an expected $20,000 shortfall in the laboratory’s funding for the year.
