A Lyttelton landmark, the old inter-island ferry terminal building, has been bought by the Yaldhurst Transport Museum, and will be given a new life as a display hall.

With its large glass area, the . building, would , give good light for museum exhibits, Mr Cooper said. “It’s a superb building for us ... it’s part of transport, also,” he said.
