Kart date change
With the Kaiapoi street . meeting being put off until December 10, the Christchurch Kart Club has transferred its meeting scheduled for Saturday at Carrs Road, to this Sunday. As an entry has been received for the junior class (6 to 12 year olds) from Sydney for the meeting, the club has decided to run a feature event for this class. This has attracted entries from Nelson and Dunedin, as well as the Christchurch drivers. Blair Kerr was born in Christchurch, but has lived, most of his life in Sydney, and though not won any titles in Australia he is very com.usually finishes in the too six. • . 7 ■
With the top drivers from Nelson, Hamish Cross and Jason Richards and Phillip Bell from Dunedin, the Christchurch drivers of Adam Brook, Justin Neill, Aaron Crichton, Damian Vamham and Mark Coulbeck will be under considerable pressure. The Junior class will contest a five heat championship, being followed by a 15 lap grand prix. All other classes competing will be midgets, novice, dubt man, open and the senior 100 cu cm Yamaha. Three has been a recent upsurge in interest in the open class in recent meetings, and entries are*, expected from Greymoutlßand Nelson for this class, as vsl!.:
