Tapes for blind
Christchurch motor-cyclists will take part in a cassette run for the Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind on October 29. Up to 200 motorcyclists will ride from Hornby Mall to the foundation’s headquarters in Bristol Street, St. Albans, with donated blank or pre-recorded audio cassettes for use at the Homai College for the Blind in Auckland. A number of blind people will be passengers. The Christchurch branch of the Women’s International Motorcycle Association is organising the ride to coincide with one in Auckland on the same day.
