Robbery arrest A man, aged 22, was arrested yesterday in connection with the $lO,OOO armed hold-up of the ANZ Addington branch on Monday last week. He will appear in the District Court this morning on a charge of aggravated robbery. The man was picked up by the police in a car in Hoon Hay yesterday morning. He was arrested about 5 p.m. Police inquiries into the Lincoln Road robbery, believed to have involved three people, are continuing. Escaper ‘satisfactory’ A Christchurch prison escaper, seriously hurt in a fall in Wellington nine days ago, is off the seriously ill list in hospital. Christopher Alexis Keriona, aged 38, is out of the Wellington Hospital intensive care unit. His condition yesterday was described as satisfactory. Keriona was hit on the head by a heavy post which snapped under his weight while he was climbing over a bank in central Wellington. Keriona, on remand on six burglary charges, escaped from Addington Prison on October 2. Motor-cycle taken A customer failed to return a Suzuki motor-cycle after a test ride in Christchurch on Tuesday. The man took the GSX 1100, registration number 76GWL, from Bikes, Bits and Skis, Ltd, in St Asaph Street, soon after 3 p.m. Indecent exposure Two men indecently exposed .themselves to two women sitting in a car parked in Tilford Street, Woolston, on Monday. The men exposed themselves after getting out of a car about 7.15 p.m. Pistol incident A man, aged 24, was arrested for allegedly firing an air pistol, after the police were called to a domestic dispute early yesterday. The man was also arrested for driving while disqualified after the police went to Kowhai Street about 1 a.m. Victim still ‘serious’ An Ashburton man injured in an incident on Friday remained seriously ill.in the Christchurch Hospital intensive care unit yesterday.
