PA Auckland A track cyclist, Gary Anderson, has described the new Manukau Velodrome as at least the equal of any he has ridden in the United States. “While it is not as fast as some, it should get better when the weather improves and the sun heats up the surface,” said Anderson. “Hopefully that will be the case at Games time, as there could be some really impressive racing.” Results:— Open: A grade 20-lap scratch: C.
