Radcliffe wins half marathon
Mel Radcliffe (New Brighton) won the Taitapu Hotel half marathon in steady rain yesterday morning. Shears, the Canterbury veteran men’s road champion, held on for third, ahead of Greg Bramwell (Christ-church-Avon). Colleen Bardsley (Sumner), had a comfortable win in the women’s section in a smart Ihr 20min 465, with Canterbury veteran women’s road champion Lorraine Young (ChristchurchAvon) second.
