Tree row resolved
PA Auckland A long-running battle between the Auckland City Council and a house removal firm which illegally felled a Herne Bay tree three years ago has been resolved.
James Davern, Ltd, has replaced the plane tree on the corner of Herne Bay Road and Upton Street and agreed to pay the council $2OOO expenses in an out-of-court settlement.
