Press secretary resigns
The Minister of Local Government, Dr Bassett, was without a press secretary yesterday morning after the sudden resignation on Friday of Diana Burns. Ms Burns confirmed yesterday that she resigned “by mutual agreement.” Beehive sources said Dr Bassett and Ms Burns had argued on Friday over the Minister’s management style.
