Cairns-Alexander.— Descendents of this family are interesed in hearing from anyone who is related. William Cairns (whose parents were John B. Cairns and Margaret Bingham), married Margaret Jane Alexander on August 22, 1872, Dromore, County Down, Northern Ireland, and emigrated to New Zealand and Christchurch in 1874. Margaret Alexander’s parents emigrated to Ashburton in 1874, Information to Mrs G. W. Rowe, R.D., Hororata, Canterbury.
Duncan and Ewen Cameron.— Duncan, born at Letterfinlay, Invernesshire, in 1874, died in New Zealand on December 3, 1918. Ewen a farmer in the Mt Somers area, was bom in the parish of Kilmoneraig, Inver-ness-hire, between 1840 and 1850. Mrs Jean Temm, 28 Arthur Road, Manurewa, Manukau city, South Auckland, is completing a family tree and seeks information from desendants of the Camerons. " '
Mac Kay.— Donald Mackay migrated to Christchurch, from North Sutherland, Scotland, in the early years of the century, and was a shepherd on a station near Christchurch. His parents were Hugh Mac Kay and Johan Mac Kay. Descendants of Donald Mac Kay and his family are asked to contact Mrs Ray Mackay, 12 Park Terrace, Scourie, Lairg, Sutherland, Scotland, 1V27 4TD, whose family is compiling a family tree.
