Offer extended
PA Wellington General Accident Life Assurance Corp has extended the acceptance date of its takeover offer for NZI Corporation by two months.
The acceptance deadline, originally September 6, is now November 6.
General Accident said that when the offer closed it would move’ to compulsorily acquire the out-
standing fully paid ordinary shares in the company. The takeover offer of 65c a share was made on July 6 through General Accident subsidiary Belves Investments. The Scottish-based insurer had made the bid conditional on the usual 90 per cent acceptance level and the standard statutory approvals.
