Plan to alter road
A section of Mairehau Road will be narrowed slightly with a painted centre island as one of several measures aimed at slowing traffic. The changes to the section of road between Bur-
wood Hospital and In-
woods Road are intended .to bring attention to the in the
road character from rural to residential and to reinforce the 50km/h speed limit. The Waimairi District Council’s works, reserves and traffic committee last evening agreed that a centre island should be painted on the road and outlined with reflecrtprised road studs.
