This is a new position to be filled, Initially, by a half-time appointment with some additional hours possible later. The person sought will be able to function effectively and sensitively in a Social Service environment with extensive Church and Government Department networks. The work of confidential assistant to the Superintendent will involve a full range of secretarial duties. Advanced word processing and shorthand skills are necessary. The successful applicant will demonstrate sound administrative ability, good judgment, initiative and a high level of written and oral communication skills.
