DEPOT(GB) Sharpo — Base Camp — Derring-Do • Sharpo, by Sharpen Up, was a multiple Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 winner over the sprint distances of 1000 to 1200 metres. He was a Champion European Sprinter in both 1981 and 1983. • Sharpo was retired to stud in 1983, and in 1986 was the leading first season sire and in 1987 was the sire of dual Group 1 winner Risk Me (FR) who won the Grand Prix de Paris, Longchamp, Gr. 1. Other Group or Listed winners were Cutting Blade, Sharp Gain, Sharp Reminder, Print, Keen Cut and Sharp Justice. • DEPOT is out of the Derring-Do mare — Base Camp — who won 3 races over 2000 metres at 3 years. Derring-Do, winner of 6 races including 3 Group races, was the third top rated 2-year-old in England in 1983. Outstanding horses that DerringDo has sired include Dominion — multiple Group race winner and successful sire and sire of sires; Roland Gardens — multiple Group race winner; Peleid — winner of the Group 1 St. Leger Stakes; High Top — multiple Group race winner and a leading sire; Huntercombe Gr. 1 winner; Jan Ekels Gr. 2 winner; Lucky Traveller Gr. 2 winner; etc. • DEPOT, on the maternal side, traces back to the prolific sire line of Alycidon, Acropolis, Borealis and Agricola — a line which has proven very successful in the New Zealand breeding industry. $lOOO plus GST (10% Discount if paid by April 1) PrebbletonFarm JOHN SHAW B.V.
