Luxury Liner to run Sunday
The two-time Harness Horse of the Year, Luxury Liner, will return to the fray at this Sunday’s Pukekohe workouts. Co-trainer and constant companion, Barry Purdon, said Luxury Liner was coming along nicely and seemed as well now as he had ever been.
The eight-year-old will resume racing at the Auckland meeting on September 23.
Stablemate Reba Lord is also doing well in a fresh campaign and will run at Pukekohe this Sunday. He had his first public outing this term at last Sunday’s Pukekohe workouts
Roy Purdon, who underwent a hip replacement operation six weeks ago, is now progressing favourably and spending a halfhour every morning at his Clevedon stable supervising proceedings.
