The managing director of diversified plastics group, Sabco, Mr Steve Millar, said he was comfortable with the purchase of about 8 per cent of the company by Melerow Pty, a company controlled by Mr Philip Cave. The shares were purchased for between sAustl and sAustl.2s a share. Last week Sabco posted a record sAustl.44 million (SNZI.BSM) net profit for the year to June 30 after sales in its brushware and main appliance divisions more than doubled.
