Co-operative stake
Waikato Dairy Co-operative, Ltd, has bought a half share of livestock exporter, New Zealand Agricultural Exports (Agex). Growing demand for a new dairy breed of cow, developed for the tropics, is the focus of the dairy company’s involvement, according to a statement from WDC chief executive, Mr Geoff Cooper. The main benefit would be a positive return to shareholders’ returns, he said.
