BATEMAN, Peggy Clara (nee Crawley) — On August 30, 1989, at Auckland Hospital; aged 68 years; dearly beloved wife of James, loved mother and mother-in-law of Derek, Peter and Yvonne, and Hugh and Sue, and loved nana of Paul, Mathew, Nicholas, Andrew, Christopher, Fiona, and Robert. In lieu of flowers, donations to 1.H.C., Central Auckland Branch, P.O. Box 77-019, Auckland, would be appreciated. Her Funeral service Is to be held at St Jude’s Anglican Church, Avondale, Auckland, on Monday, September 4, at 2.30 p.m., to be followed by private cremation. Watney Sibuns, Ltd, F.D.A.N.Z. BELL, Brigid Cecalia, of Culverden — On August 30, 1989, at Walkari Hospital, loved wife of John James Bell, mother and mother-in-law of James and Barbara (Christchurch), Celine and Paul (Gold Coast), Darroch and Jennifer (Christchurch), and loved Grandma Bridle of Christian and Marcs, Duane and John, and Sarah and Andrew; In her 67th year. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society at the service. A Requiem Mass will be held at the Catholic Church, Culverden, on Monday, September 4, at 2 p.m., thereafter Interment at Culverden Cemetery. Geoffrey Hall Funeral Services, Ltd.
