New mining chairman
Mr Martin Ward, of Wellington, is the new chairman of the New Zealand branch of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Mr Ward, who replaces Mr Nick McArthur, of Greymouth, was elected at the branch’s recent annual meeting in Greymouth.
