Anderton leads competition
Shane Anderton has taken a clear lead in the $lOOO Bascik Cartage Jumps Jockeys Competition at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Grand National meeting. Anderton has 26 points as a result of two wins, on Bilbah and South Of Saltfleet, and a third on Imperial Guy. . Angus Mavor is a distant second on 12 points followed by Kim Treweek, Phoebe Gerard and Tom Hazlett, all on eight points.
