Airport shuttle launch today
By
PAM MORTON
A “meet and greet” airport shuttle service, which has been running successfully in Auckland for the last two years, will be introduced to Christchurch customers today. It would provide a personalised door-to-door transfer service as an alternative to taking a taxi, said the managing director of Super Shuttle New Zealand, Ltd, Mr Anthony McAnulty. S Services will be timed to connect with the first flight in the moripig to
the last flight in the evening, seven days a week. Four vans would run in Christchurch initially, but if the venture was successful the number would probably be increased to about 15, said Mr McAnulty. Mr McAnulty said it was hoped to also set up a branch of Super Shuttle in Wellington. Passengers travelling from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to any of the three destinations could arrange to be picked up from their home and then met.by a van at their destinafbn.
